Several branches
Run more than one branch with its own stock, till and day close, and move stock between them.
Several branches is a paid add-on. If Add a branch is missing in Settings, ask Makerss Hub to switch it on.
What is separate and what is shared
- Separate for each branch: stock, bills (with their own numbers), the till, and the day close.
- Shared by the whole company: your drug list, distributors, invoices and what you owe them, customers, loyalty points and credit accounts.
Add a branch
- The owner opens Settings, then Branches, and clicks Add a branch.
- Enter the name and a short code of 1 to 6 letters or numbers. The code goes in front of that branch's bill numbers, for example
K-2026-000001. It cannot be changed later. - You can add the address, the phone number and a line to print under the pharmacy name on that branch's bills.
Your first branch is called Main and keeps the PH- bill numbers.
Who can use which branch
Under Who can use which branch, tick the branches each person may work in. A person with none ticked can use every branch. The owner can always use all of them.
Working in a branch
After signing in, a person who may use more than one branch is asked which one they are working in. The branch name shows in the top bar. Click it to change. Sell, Stock, Sales and Day close then show that branch only.
Receive an invoice into a branch
Buying is shared, so an invoice belongs to the company. In Receiving, choose Receive into before you click Apply to stock. The stock goes into that branch.
Move stock between branches
- Open Transfers in the menu. It shows when you have more than one branch.
- Click New transfer, choose the branch to send to, and add the drugs. Every batch with stock is listed: lower the numbers or remove the batches you do not send.
- Click Send stock. The stock leaves your branch and arrives in the other branch at once, with the same batch number, expiry and cost. Nothing is moved if anything is wrong.
Reports
In Reports, Sales and Stock can be shown for this branch, one other branch, or all branches.
Closing a branch
A branch that still has stock cannot be closed: transfer the stock out first. At least one branch must stay open.
Selling without internet
A sale made offline is saved in the branch it was sold in, even if the person sends it later from another branch.
