Dispensing labels

Print a label with the dose instructions for a medicine you hand to a patient. This is optional and off until the owner turns it on.

A dispensing label shows the pharmacy name, the patient (if the bill has one), the medicine, how to take it, the quantity, the date and the bill number. It is in English.

Turn it on

The owner opens Settings, then Labels, ticks Dispensing labels, sets the label size to match the roll in the printer, and saves. Until it is ticked, Sell shows nothing about labels.

Use it in Sell

  1. Add the drugs to the bill.
  2. On a drug that needs a label, tick Dispensing label.
  3. Enter the dose: how much each time, how often, with food, how many days, and an optional note. The last dose you used for that drug is offered again.
  4. Pay as usual. After the bill, click Print dispensing labels. One label is printed for each ticked drug.

Drugs you do not tick get no label. You can change the dose by clicking the dose text on the line, and untick to remove a label.

Printing

Labels print through the browser, one label per page. Choose your label printer in the print box. Make sure the label size in Settings matches the roll, or the text may be cut.
